3.1. Data Breach - unauthorised access, disclosure, or theft of sensitive, protected, or confidential data.
3.2. IoT Event - an incident involving a compromised internet-connected device used by the business.

5. Claim process

Incidents must be reported to iStore Business as soon as reasonably possible after discovery, and in any event within the timeframes set out in the full warranty document. Late notification may affect the validity of a claim. Supporting documentation is required to process any claim, including written confirmation from the relevant financial institution for Business Email Compromise claims.

To report an incident, contact infosec@istorebusiness.co.za

6. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover any matter not expressly included in the full warranty document. Without limiting that, cover does not extend to:

6.5. any incident, cost, or loss falling outside the defined event types in clause 3.

7. Subscription dependency

Cover is valid only while the infoSec Cyber Security subscription is active and in good standing. The warranty lapses immediately on cancellation, suspension, or non-payment of the subscription, and no claim may be made in respect of incidents occurring after such lapse.

8. Full warranty document

This summary sets out key points only. The full warranty document, including complete definitions, the full scope of covered costs, conditions, sub-limits, and exclusions, is available here.
